Dr. Glenda Sherman, is an anointed woman of God who has accepted the higher calling of God on her life. She is the Co-Pastor of Shekinah Glory Tabernacle Praise and Worship Center in Decatur, Georgia where she serves alongside her husband, Pastor Gregory Sherman, founder and Sr. Pastor.
Dr. Glenda Sherman, is married to Pastor Gregory Sherman who is the founder and Sr. Pastor of Shekinah Glory Tabernacle Praise and Worship Center in Decatur, Georgia. They have been married for 30 blessed years. She serves faithfully alongside her husband as Co-Pastor and Co-laborer in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is an anointed woman of God who has accepted the higher calling of God on her life. Presently she also serves as principal and director of the SGT Christian Academy and After School Program.
Her Academic & Spiritual Pursuit
She was called and licensed as an evangelist of the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2001 and ordained as an Elder in March of 2010. Her academic pursuits include a B.A. Degree in Consumer Science and Masters Degree in Counseling Education and a Doctorate Degree in Religious Philosophy. She served as an educator and counselor in the public school system for approximately 20 years. She has served for the past 10 years as principal and director at Shekinah Glory Tabernacle (SGT) Christian Academy. She is definitely a role model for combining ministry, work, and home as wife, mother and grandmother.
Understanding that her calling and mission is to teach, preach and reach women of all ages and from all walks of life ; she strives to help encourage, strengthen and motivate women to walk in their divine calling and fulfill their God-given purpose. Therefore she has founded several ministries to help aid in ministering to women of all ages and backgrounds: She is founder of the Women In Christ Ministries that minister to women from all across the nations through an Annual Women's Conference.
Her Mission & Purpose
She believes as God appointed Esther for such a time as He did, to help bring deliverance to the Jews, she believes that God has anointed and appointed her for such a time as this to help bring salvation, deliverance, healing and wholeness to women all across this nation and abroad. Therefore, she coordinates mission trips to Trinidad and Dominican Republic to help bring hope and healing to hurting women and children who are in the orphans. She also works with missionaries and organizations to help bring healing, deliverance and awareness to young girls who are trapped in human trafficking.
Co-Pastor Glenda and her husband Pastor Gregory Sherman have been blessed with four lovely children, Gregory Karlton, Grace Shari, Gleshaun Kendrell and Glorhea Shekinah, and a beautiful granddaughter, Joy Shari. To God Be the Glory!!!
